- Located at the south end of Winthrop Golf Club, a five minute walk from Winthrop Beach, this family-owned neighborhood Italian restaurant is fronted by proprietor and maitre d' Said Lahyani. The menu features Italian dishes with a wider Mediterranean influence such as lamb ossobucco, braised lamb in a herb, lemon and olive sauce and orecchiette con salsiccia, or pasta with Italian sausage. Try the homemade Tiramisu for dessert. The restaurant operates a BYOB, or bring your own bottle, policy but there is a liquor store less than a minute's walk away.

It also provides catering for outside parties. The restaurant operates a BYOB policy. The menu offers pasta, chicken, veal, pork, steak and seafood options including pork chops in vinegar, pepper and potato and veal pomodoro.
- Located in a residential area of East Boston, three miles west of Winthrop, Rino's is owned and run by chef Anthony DiCenso, who was born and raised in Italy and is the son of original owners Rino and Anna DiCenso. As of February 2011, dishes range in price from $9 to $18 and include lobster ravioli, shrimp scampi and eggplant stuffed with smoked mozzarella and ricotta. The restaurant introduces new specials daily for lunch and dinner.
