A Yummy Pizza Recipe to make your mouth water

Cooking a home made pizza can be a very rewarding experience. The options are just about endless as far as flavour options for you to explore. I am a pizza chef, and I am passionate about my cooking. In this article I will share with you some of my best tips to help you improve your cooking, and I am sure, you will love this recipe.

Pizza Stones

These days most cooking and appliance stores sell relatively cheap pizza cooking stones. These are great as they enable you to make a nice crunchy base without burning your pizza. These are particularly good if you like thick base pizzas.

Fresh ingredients

The secret to all good home cooking is fresh ingredients. If the toppings are crap, so will be your pizza. As far as selection goes, I love to experiment with different options. I invent new tasty home made recipes all the time. If a food tastes good, then chances are you can probably make a good pizza recipe out of it. And if you consider desert pizzas there are even more options for you to explore.

Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese, Tomato and Pesto Dip

My favourite pizza recipe might not be for everyone, but for me it is tops. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I cook a thin and crispy base, using home made dough, made in a bread maker. I cook the base by itself without any toppings. I then add a pesto dip, covering the base, the sort of product you will find in your supermarket in the dip section. I heat the dip for a few minutes to ensure the flavour bakes into the base a little. I then add the rest of the ingredients cold on top: Smoked Salmon slices, sliced tomato, and dollops of cream cheese. This pizza is served with the base hot and the rest of the ingredients cold. The contrast of flavours and heat in your mouth make this an amazing pizza, sure to impress anyone. Give it a go, it’s hard to mess up if you can get the base right.
