Red Empire Hue

• It's easy to determine whether your KitchenAid Artisan Series Mixer is Red Empire because this is the official name KitchenAid gives to its mixers displaying a true red finish. You may have a little more trouble distinguishing between the other two red-family hues, Persimmon and Boysenberry. A good rule of thumb is to remember that Persimmon has a hint of orange and Boysenberry is a deep purple.

• Check the code on the box. If you see KSM150PSER, then you have a Red Empire mixer. If you see KSM150PSPN, then you have a Persimmon mixer. If you see KSM150PSBY, you have a Boysenberry mixer.
