- Almost any type of window treatment out there can be made to have a fluffy appearance, depending on how you arrange them around the windows and on the curtain rods. Creating fluffy window treatments can bring a cozy and comfy atmosphere to any home.
- Using tiebacks to create fluffy window treatments will work on small windows that have large or heavy window treatments. Loosely pulling the window treatments to either side will give the effect of fullness and fluffiness. Also, placing window topper over the main curtain, while allowing the main curtain to ruffle at the top on the curtain rod, will fluff the window topper as well.
- Placing two curtain rods and layer window treatments will help fluff the window treatments in the front. Heavy or thick window treatments can be fluffed this way, so that they don't just hang on the curtain rod. This can also be done in reverse, with a thicker window treatment behind a thinner curtain. Again, the added thickness will fluff the curtain in the front.
- Adding additional window treatments to a curtain rod can create a fluffy look. For example, a window that would use two window treatments normally, can have a third or fourth added to create a fluffier look. Also, some panel curtains will have two curtain rod openings at the top, using the second opening, that will create ruffles at the top of the window treatment, while placing three or four curtains on a rod will help to fluff the curtains as well.
