- 1). Open the driver and passenger side doors and locate the mounting bolts that attach the roll-bar to the windshield. There are two bolts on each roll-bar.
- 2). Lubricate the bolts by spraying penetrating fluid directly onto the bolts. Allow the fluid to soak on the bolts for 15-20 minutes before proceeding.
- 3). Remove the bolts using a screwdriver with a torx tip. Rotate the screwdriver in a clockwise direction to remove the bolts. Save the bolts for re-installation.
- 4). Grasp the windshield and lower it down onto the hood of your Jeep.
- 5). Attach a small piece of Velcro from the latch on the windshield to the latch on the hood to secure the windshield to the hood. The latch on the hood is in the center between the two rubber mounts. The windshield latch is located on the top section of the windshield frame.
