- 1). Turn off your Kenmore dishwasher and shut off the power supply by flipping the breaker switch that controls the dishwasher circuit to the "Off" position.
- 2). Open the dishwasher door and slide the lower dish rack out of the dishwasher.
- 3). Locate the circular float assembly on the floor of the dishwasher tub. Pull the cap off the assembly. If there are screws holding the cap in place, remove them with a Phillips screwdriver.
- 4). Pull the float turn component out of the compartment.
- 5). Fit a new float turn in the old one's place. Push it down into the compartment until it snaps in place.
- 6). Replace the float cover and dish rack.
