How to Change a Headlight Bulb on a 1994 Honda Civic

1). Open the hood of your Civic. Locate the bulb cover inside the engine compartment and pull it back away from the light assembly.
2). Pull the wiring harness connection away from the back of the bulb. Press the retaining clip down and pull backward to remove the connector from your Civic's headlight.
3). Turn the lock ring counterclockwise to remove it from the bulb assembly. Pull the bulb socket straight back out of the headlight assembly. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket.
4). Insert the new bulb into the bulb socket. Insert the bulb socket straight into the headlight assembly.
5). Secure the lock ring by turning it clockwise to lock it in position. Push the wiring harness connection into place until it clicks.
6). Position the bulb cover securely on the backside of the headlight assembly. Close the hood and test the new headlights.
