Decorations

• Gather decorations you'll need. Begin by finding Care Bears plates, napkins, cups, hats and noisemakers. You'll also need to find a cake. You can make your own using Care Bears toppers or toys on top of the cake. Or, you can hire a professional bakery to create a Care Bears cake to your specifications. You might also consider purchasing a Care Bears tablecloth and some Care Bears stuffed animals to add to the theme.
  
  

Goody Bags

• Find clear gift bags at almost any craft of party store. Use these bags to hold Care Bears stickers, pencils, figurines, and candy that you can distribute to each child attending the birthday party. Sending each child home with something is a way to thank them for taking the time to celebrate with your child.
  
  

Activities

• Consider buying a Care Bears DVD that the children can watch. You may also be able to find coloring books with a Care Bears theme that the children can color together. Consider providing clothes they can use to dress up like their favorite Care Bears character, and finding a CD of music from the series that they can dance to.
