Wash by Hand

• 1). Insert the stuffed animal into your washing machine with a bit of gentle detergent and set the machine's cycle to "Hand Wash." If your machine does not have this setting, you will need to wash the toy with the traditional method of hand washing, described in the next step.
  
  
• 2). Fill a sink with warm or cold water (as indicated by the toy's tag) and submerse the animal in the liquid.
  
  
• 3). Add a bit of gentle detergent to the water and gently wash the toy with your hands. Rinse out the toy and hang it to air-dry
  
  

Spot Cleaning

• 1). Check the stuffed toy for the appearance of any dirty spots or areas that need to be cleaned.
  
  
• 2). Spray a small amount of gentle spray cleaner onto the affected area.
  
  
• 3). Dip a sponge or cloth into cold or warm water (depending on the tag's instructions) and rub the dirty area to make it clean. Rub off all of the cleaning product.
  
  
• 4). Hang the toy to air-dry or set it in the sun.
