New Testament Authos
While religions promote the life and death of Jesus Christ and the New Testament as a collection of works by his apostles my research reveals the facts. The work was done by Jerome at the behest of the then Bishop of Rome, Damasus. It was part of a conspiracy introduced by Emperor Constantine to put in place a religion that he could control and which, in turn, would bring more power and government to his unwieldy empire without the need for other emperors.
When Constantine became an emperor there were five others to contend with. Contemporary authors noted that he had a goal in mind from the start and to fulfil that he connived, murdered and cheated to make himself sole emperor. In 324AD he had his eldest son, Crispus, murdered as the last surviving emperor beside himself. He had appointed him as such to help defeat Licinius who ruled over the eastern half. A year later he established the Roman Catholic Church and invented the figure of Jesus Christ as its prophet.
This he achieved through the Council of Nicaea. It could not determine how, when, where or why, Jesus Christ would have come to earth. It was Jerome, some 60 years later, who was given the task of sorting out that puzzle. He had spent time in the east and was well familiar with the places appointed as the birth place and death site of Christ.
Constantine's mother, Helen, had helped in that task when she went to Jerusalem on Constantine's behalf and claimed to find the sites in question. This was more than 300 years after the supposed events and after the city had been raised to the ground by Titus in 70AD. It is claimed that following that event and massacre of the Jews not even the foundations of the wall could be found. But that did not hinder Constantine who then erected churches over the places she identified.
Jerome put in place more than the gospels. He brought in the order of the mass, the costumes, festivals and instruments used. He also ordered the calendar, laws and other things that were all taken from the Imperial Roman Religion of the time. It was a sun worshipping faith and it explains why the sun star and cross are icons in the church.
Jerome's hand can be seen in the book of Matthew that expresses the church laws that were unknown before that time. It uses the story of Krishna for that of Christ and other anomalies point to it being of Indian origin. It differs greatly to Luke while John and Mark make no mention of the birth or some of the other things held in it. It is also the only book that references Peter being appointed as the rock of the church.
