- An AirLiner Wireless Slate consists of an electronic "notebook," a wireless mouse and an electronic pen that connects to a projector. The slates are capable of connecting wirelessly to the Internet and other multimedia devices such as DVD players or other computers.
- AirLiner Slates can be used in large lecture halls where it may be difficult for students to see a blackboard or projection screen. The Airliner allows for connection to multiple projectors as well as the ability to save lessons or take notes and easily transfer them to email or Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.
- Students can interact and send answers to the teacher by using smaller transponders, or if the teacher hands them the slate to complete a problem. The teacher then can display the answers back to the students and show what percentage chose which answer, as well as perform other analytical features using students' input.
- AirlLner Wireless Slates utilize Bluetooth technology. Place the included Bluetooth wireless adapter into a USB connection. Double-click the Bluetooth icon on the toolbar on the lower right-hand side. Go to "Options" and select "Turn Discovery On," then click "Next." Make sure the slate is powered on and select "Add" under the devices tab. The Airliner Wireless Slate should appear as one of the choices; select it and you are connected.
