Use your pencil and draw half a heart, like a question mark without the dot at the bottom. - 2
Draw the other half of the heart, mirroring the opposite side. - 3
Place the tip of your pencil a finger width away from the top center of the heart. Draw out the top of the wing from here, curving up then down, then slightly up. From here draw the curves of seven to eight more feathers underneath the top one, making them smaller as they go down. - 4
Define the feathers by drawing short curving lines from the edge of the heart and small curved dashes at the tip of each feather. - 5
Repeat these steps for the opposite wing. - 6). Color the heart as you wish. Get creative. You can color the heart a solid red or create a glow of progressive colors such as pink, lavender, red and cream from the center out. Color the feathers a cream, shadowed with lavender or create your own color scheme.
