- 1). Turn the metal cake pan upside down so the bottom is facing upward. Place a straight edge ruler in the upper right hand corner of the pan and extend it to the lower left hand corner. Trace a line. Place the ruler in the upper left hand corner with the other end extended to the lower right hand corner. Trace a line. You now have an X on the bottom of the cake pan.
- 2). Measure in from each corner 1 inch and mark the location at the 1-inch mark on the line. Drill a 1/16th hole on the mark in each corner.
- 3). Drill a 1/16th hole in one end of each wooden dowel pin.
- 4). Locate the end of the wooden pin that was not drilled. Measure from the top of the pin, down ½ inch and drill a 1/16th hole. Measure ½ inch down from that hole and drill a second hole. Drill down ½ inch from the second hole and drill a third. Complete this process with all four wooden dowels.
- 5). Place the metal cake pan on its side. Put one wooden dowel against the bottom side of the cake pan and line up the hole in the cake pan with the hole in the bottom of the wooden dowel. Secure the wooden dowel to the cake pan with a screw. Complete this process with all four wooden dowels.
- 6). Thread string through the top hole in one wooden dowel and tie it into place. Thread the string through the top hole of the other three wooden dowels to complete a square with the string. Tie the end of the string around the last wooden dowel so the string remains tight. Complete this process with the second and the third sets of holes to complete the WWE ring.
- 7). Use enamel paint to give the wrestling ring a custom look. Spray paint can also be used if you paint it before you put the "ropes" on.
