Largo is in the middle of Pinellas County on the west coast of central Florida, just west of Tampa. There are many mobile home parks and communities. - Fairway Village is a resident-owned mobile home community with 751 units for those 55 and older. The community includes a five-acre lake, eight shuffleboard courts, two swimming pools with hot tubs, a nine-hole golf course with practice putting green and a clubhouse with wireless Internet access. There is a stage with movie screen, library, card room, conference room, exercise room, billiards room, and computer room. In 2010, a maintenance fee of $184 provided twice-weekly trash pick-up, water, sewer, 27-channel cable television service and lawn care. Golf membership is optional.
