Kimchi Boekum is a new variation of the popular kimchi dish.
It's not as refreshing as uncooked kimchi, but once you fry pan it, you get a whole new flavor in your mouth.
There's a bit of a sour taste, but there's also a bit of a sweet taste as well.
The dish also doesn't have to be completely kimchi.
You can always add other ingredients into the dish to make it one that has many layers of flavor.

The ingredients that you will need for this variation of kimchi bokeum are: kimchi, cooking oil, and spam.
This dish is incredibly simple to make.
The first thing that you need to do is to take your kimchi and cut them into bite sized pieces if they're not already cut.
Kimchi is usually cut when they're store bought.
If you have a traditional Korean family, they will usually make the kimchi at their home and cut them into big slices, so if you have one of these families, just roughly chop them however and you should be fine.
Now, take a frying pan and put it on medium high heat.
While the pan is heating up, add some cooking oil and throw in the kimchi.
Mix the kimchi every 5 minutes or less to make sure the kimchi doesn't get burnt and that it's evenly cooked all over.
While the kimchi is cooking in the frying pan, take some spam (any meat will work in my opinion, but I happen to love spam, so we're going to use it in this dish) and chop them into little rectangles.
Throw them into the pan after you see the kimchi turning a golden red color.
Continue to mix and cook until the spam looks like it's done.
Then simply serve on a plate and let the people enjoy this new way of eating kimchi.
If you want to take it to another step, you can cook squares of tofu and eat the tofu with the kimchi bokeum; it tastes delicious.
