- 1). Check the power supply. Ensure the power cord is plugged into a wall socket. Check the circuit breaker or fuse box. If the washer doesn’t have power, it won’t work. Unplug the washer and wait two minutes before plugging it back in; this resets the electronics.
- 2). Examine the lid. Ensure the lid is closed tightly. If the lid is not closed completely, the washer won’t complete its cycle. The machine also won’t work If the lid magnet is missing; you'll need to call for service.
- 3). Check the position of your washer. Ensure the washer is level. Adjust the legs or rollers under your unit. If the washer is unbalanced, it won’t complete its cycle.
- 4). Inspect the load. Redistribute the load. If the items are bunched in one area, they unbalance the machine and prevent it from completing its cycle.
- 5). Check the cycle. The washer may pause during its normal cycle to implement an automatic suds cycle in the event that too many suds were detected.
- 6). Examine the faucets. Ensure the taps are turned on completely. The washer won’t work if it doesn’t fill with water.
- 7). Check the controls. Shut the lid and press the “Start” button to start the washer.
