- 1). Turn off the power to your GE gas oven by flipping the electrical breaker or unplugging the appliance from the electrical outlet.
- 2). Turn off the gas valve that runs to your GE oven.
- 3). Open the GE oven door and allow it to lie open flat.
- 4). Locate the screws along the interior ceiling of the oven.
- 5). Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screws that hold the ceiling panel on.
- 6). Locate the burner assembly.
- 7). Pull the burner assembly toward you to disconnect it from the oven. The burner assembly plugs into the oven and disconnects when you pull it out.
