- 1). Download and install the device drivers for your ROKR Z6m from Motorola.com.
- 2). From the "USB Settings" shortcut on the Z6m, select "Media Sync."
- 3). Connect the Z6m to your computer using the USB cable supplied with the phone.
- 4). Open Windows Media Player. If the player opens in the compact mode, switch to the library view by clicking the "Switch to Library" icon in the upper right corner of the compact view window.
- 5). Insert a CD in your computer's CD player.
- 6). Click the "Rip CD" button to transfer the CD tracks to your computer. Continue after all tracks have been transferred.
- 7). Click the "Sync" tab in the upper right corner of the Windows Media Player program window.
- 8). Select the CD album just copied from the Windows Media Player library. Use your mouse to drag the album icon to the area that says "Drag items here" in the Sync tab.
- 9). Click the "Start sync" button just above the Motorola Z6m icon shown in the sync tab.
