Each spring, art lovers in St. Louis head to Queeny Park for the annual Art Fair. The fair showcases the works of dozens of artists from all across the country. It's also a good place to find unique gifts for your friends and family.

Dates, Location and Admission:
The Art Fair at Queeny Park is held each year at the beginning of April. In 2015, the Art Fair is Friday, April 10, through Sunday, April 12. The fair is open Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 a person, but parking is free.
The Art Fair is held inside the Greensfelder Recreation Center in Queeny Park. The park is located at 550 Weidman Road, just off of Manchester Road in Ballwin.
What You'll See:
The Art Fair at Queeny Park is a juried art show with more than $4,500 in cash and prizes. Each year, more than 130 artists from 20 states display and sell their works during the fair. The art takes on a variety of mediums including painting, ceramics, sculpture, glass work, jewelry and more. Throughout the weekend, visitors will also have the chance to win several $100 gift certificates to spend at any of the booths at the fair.

In addition to the art, there will also be two wine tastings during the fair. The wine tastings are Friday from 6 p.m.
to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Then on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m., there's a special event for the kids called the Children's Art Discovery Adventure. The goal of the program is to introduce children to fine art, and help them to better appreciate and understand what it takes to create different kinds of art.
