The City of San Francisco has come up with a brilliant strategy to try to slow down the traffic.
They want to change the color of the streets from black to a nice Starbucks Mocha Frappachino color.
And you probably think this is a joke, but it's not.
You are welcome to search on the Internet and find out for yourself.
Apparently, they've done psychological studies, which show the people will slow down when driving on a nice brown roadway.
Now, I am not sure if that will work, it sounds like a crackpot idea, and something that the folks in San Francisco might come up with, while they are sitting there drinking their latte looking out the Starbucks window at the world go by, but it did bring up a pretty good idea.
Why not paint the streets a Starbucks "White Mocha Frappachino flavor" a much lighter beige or mauve color? The lighter color would decrease the urban heat in the area, and with a proper cooling that would lower the ambient temperatures from the heat coming off the road during the day.
By lowering the temperature of all the roads, less hot air would rise catching the prevailing winds and then heating up the atmosphere as a blows across the land.
This would prevent areas around our major cities from warming.
And if all the cities did this maybe we could stop "Global Warming" that is of course if you buy into global warming theory in the first place.
If you think you want to come up with a better idea why not go down to Starbucks and put some caffeine in that brain of yours and let us know.
You may as well get those neurons firing once again, and use that mind of yours to solve some of these problems.
Please consider all this.
