- 1). Jack up the truck on the front jack point just behind the radiator using a floor jack.
- 2). Place a jack stand under each of the pinch welds underneath the vehicle's front doors.
- 3). Lower the vehicle onto the stands.
- 4). Climb under the truck and locate the upstream O2 sensor close to the engine on the exhaust. Then, locate the downstream O2 sensor in the middle of the exhaust behind the catalytic converter. The catalytic converter is an egg-shaped component that is welded inline with the exhaust pipe towards the middle of the truck.
