You may agree that it is best to trust what a person SHOWS about themselves more than what they say and so this exercise will help you to be a better judge of character.
You can observe their behavior and how they treat others.
If someone is very critical of themselves and others, it is only a matter of time before YOU become their next target.
Do their good qualities balance out this potential negative? Does it matter to you?
