Charlie has weird dreams, which cause him to sleepwalk. His dreams are about Aaron being in danger. People begin to mistrust him and those who know he is an addict think that he is using again. Locke finds him getting into his heroin stash and takes it. In flashbacks, Charlie is a kid and his mother gives him a piano for Christmas and tells him that he is going to save the family. As an adult, Charlie makes excuses for his brother, Liam, after Liam's baby is born and Liam doesn't go to see her.

Liam's wife kicks him out and he goes to live with Charlie, but then ends up selling Charlie's piano in order to move to Australia with his wife and daughter and go to rehab and start over.
