- 1). Double-click the PowerPoint shortcut to open the program.
- 2). Select "View," located on the top of the screen. Select the box next to Ruler to make this feature appear above your presentation.
- 3). Single-click "Slide Master" and then select the first thumbnail image located on the left.
- 4). Highlight the line or lines containing the bullet you wish to move back. Then move the tab marker located on the Ruler above the bullet. The bullet will move in the same direction as the tab marker.
- 5). Click "File," "Save" and then "Close Master Slide."
