- 1). Pull back on the sliding plate at the top of the pellet pistol to cock the firing mechanism. Fire the pellet pistol into an open toilet to ensure that there are no pellets inside of the firing mechanism
- 2). Put a bath towel on a table. Press down on the magazine release latch on the handle on one side of the pellet pistol. Pull the magazine out of the bottom of the pellet pistol. Put the magazine aside.
- 3). Put the pellet pistol on its side on the bath towel with the barrel facing to the left.
- 4). Remove the screw from the front upper edge of the pellet pistol by the barrel with the Phillips screwdriver.
- 5). Remove the screw from the back upper edge of the pellet pistol by the hammer with the Phillips screwdriver
- 6). Turn the pellet pistol over. Remove the screws in a similar manner as was just done on the other side.
- 7). Pick up the pellet pistol in your left hand. Hold the Phillips screwdriver in your right hand. Remove the screw on the top of the pellet pistol just in front of the hammer with the Phillips screwdriver.
- 8). Pull the hammer back until it locks in position. Insert the tip of the Phillips screwdriver into the gap on the top of the pellet pistol that is in front of the hammer. Wiggle the tip of the Phillips screwdriver to loosen the sliding plate from the top of the pellet pistol. Put the Phillips screwdriver on the bath towel.
- 9). Push the sliding plate on the top of the pellet pistol toward the barrel with the right hand. Continue pushing the sliding plate until it comes off the front of the pellet gun. Put the sliding plate on the bath towel.

Pull the receiver firing mechanism out of the top of the pellet gun with your right hand. Put the receiver firing mechanism on the bath towel with the spring inside of it facing up. Put the pellet pistol on the bath towel. - 11
Put on the work gloves. Hold the receiver firing mechanism down on the bath towel with your left hand. Hold the Phillips screwdriver in your right hand. Insert the tip of the Phillips screwdriver between the end of the spring on the left side and the nub attached to the receiver firing mechanism. - 12
Pull back on the spring, using the tip of the Phillips screwdriver to dislodge it from the nub. Repeat this procedure on the end of the spring on the right side. - 13
Pull the spring out of the receiver firing mechanism with your fingers. Stand the spring up on the bath towel. - 14
Blow out the receiver firing mechanism with compressed air. - 15
Place the palm of your left hand against the top of the spring. Place the palm of your right hand against the top of your left hand. Press down on the spring to compress it. Hold down on the compressed spring for 20 seconds before releasing it. Repeat this procedure another four times. - 16
Place one end of the now compressed spring over the nub inside of the receiver firing mechanism on the left side. Place the other end of the now compressed spring over the nub inside of the receiver firing mechanism on the right side. - 17
Place the receiver firing mechanism back into the top of the pellet pistol. Slide the sliding plate back onto the top of the pellet pistol. Reattach the screw to the top of the pellet pistol. Release the hammer of the pellet pistol. - 18
Reattach the screws to both sides of the pellet pistol. Push the magazine back into the bottom of the pellet pistol.
