Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Remove the adhesive remaining on the windshield and the mirror mount. Use the razor blade scraper to do this, and scrape until no adhesive is visible on the windshield and mirror mount.
2
Clean the area around the windshield and mirror mount with alcohol and a lint-free towel to remove all residue. It may take a few tries to get all of the residue off the mount and windshield. The window should be clean and streak-free when finished.
3
Apply a liberal amount of the primer, supplied with the mirror adhesive, to the windshield and mirror mount. Allow this to dry for 15 minutes.
4
Apply the adhesive to the mirror button and position it on the windshield. The small face of the button goes towards the windshield, and the rounded side faces at the top. Refer to the diagram in the instructions for a picture of how it should look when done properly. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before installing the mirror on the mount.
