    Chez Daniel

    • This French restaurant, founded in 1985, is located in Anchors Village. Chef Daniel Vasse sticks to the classics with traditional French cuisine and a wine list that features more than 250 varieties. The menu starts with a few trademark French soups. The entrée menu includes bouillabaisse, sautéed sole in lemon butter sauce, a shrimp dish and swordfish served with a garlic butter confit. Lobster, prime rib, filet mignon, veal chops and chicken dishes also are on the menu. The dessert menu features vanilla cheesecake and mango, raspberry and lemon sherbert. Chez Daniel only serves dinner during the week. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Friday through Sunday, the restaurant serves both lunch and dinner. Sunday brunch is a popular option. Adjacent to the restaurant is the Tapas Bar, which offers wine and tapas made by the same chefs. Boat slips are available for rent near the restaurant.

    Blue Hawaii

    • Located in the Palmanova Shopping Center, this 12-year-old Asian restaurant and sushi bar offers made-to-order cuisine. The entrée menu includes lobster, BBQ roast duck, blackened salmon, steaks and honey chicken. A highlight is the Blue Hawaii Mystery Dinner. As of March 2010, the cost for this meal was $40 per diner, and the minimum order required at least two diners. All dishes are prepared by hand. The menu also features many exotic drinks. The chef is Tommy Lo, who once worked as a chef on a major U.S. ocean liner. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner.

    The Flying Pizza

    • This pizza joint is a casual family restaurant owned by Ana and Ed Stahel, who spent 20 years in Switzerland before heading to Puerto Rico to share their menu of pizzas, calzones, pastas and salads. Take out is available. The restaurant features a terrace. The Flying Pizza serves lunch and dinner.
