- Rohnert City boasts 21 neighborhood parks with varying facilities including playgrounds, sports fields and picnic areas, which can be reserved in advance. There are also three public pools: Benecia, Honeybee and Magnolia, all of which are staffed with lifeguards and have a concession bar for snacks and drinks. Seven of the parks also have tennis courts, available for public use on a timer basis, and for those who enjoy cycling, a map of bicycle routes criss-cross the city.
- The Callinan Center welcomes both members and non-members. It covers 4,600 sq. feet, is equipped with the latest equipment and staffed with trained instructors to help visitors establish their own exercise programs. As well as the fitness center and freeweight room, the Center also has a gymnasium for basketball and volleyball games, racquet ball courts and a sauna.
- The Community Pottery Studio offers a variety of classes for beginners to advanced potters. The studio has two kilns, seven potter's wheels and a variety of glazes for your finished product. Other classes are available, including stained glass, floristry and mosaics, as well as child-parent classes.
