- 1). Go to websites that claim to offer free printable birthday cards, such as Hewlett Packard (HP), American Greetings or 123 Print Cards. Read the Terms and Conditions to identify sites that offer a trial membership only or require later payment. The HP site offers free printable cards with no membership and is the example used for this article.
- 2). Go to the HP website homepage. Place your cursor over "Explore & Create." Click on "Free Printing Projects" under the "At Home" tab.
- 3). Place your cursor over "Project Types" and click on "Cards and Stationery" in the drop-down menu.
- 4). Click on "Greeting Cards." Place your cursor over "Kids and School" and click on the appropriate age category in the drop down menu. Alternatively, place your cursor over "Life Events" and click on "Birthday" in the drop down menu.
- 5). Click on the box to the left of "Free" in the center of the page above the cards to filter your choices. Click on the numbers on the left above the cards, or the arrows to the right and/or left of the cards, to browse the available choices.
- 6). Click on your card of choice. Follow the instructions to customize the card with a personal message and photo, if applicable, and print your card.
