- 1). Turn the power off and unplug the power cable. Let the system cool off for 10 to 15 minutes.
- 2). Loosen the two trim fasteners with a flat head screwdriver. Slide the trim forward to remove it from the fireplace. This provides you with access to the glass.
- 3). Secure the glass with your hands. Remove the clip from the top part of the glass to unhook the glass. Carefully lower the glass and set it aside.
- 4). Grasp the log unit and lift the front part of it up. Pull the log toward you to unhook it from the Dimplex fireplace. Set it to the side.
- 5). Grasp the light bulb socket with your hand. With your other hand, gently turn the light bulb counterclockwise to unscrew it. Insert the new light bulb. Turn it clockwise.
Repeat as necessary. There are four lower light bulbs. - 6). Check the upper light bulbs to determine if they need to be replaced. Hold the socket on the upper light bulb. Turn the bulb counterclockwise to unscrew it. Insert the new light bulb and turn it clockwise to tighten it.
There are two upper light bulbs. These bulbs may or may not require replacing at the same time as the lower light bulbs.
