- 1). Safely jack up the front end of your 1995 Sunfire, crawl under the front end and find the oil drain pan, which should be located squarely in the middle.
- 2). Remove the drain pan's plug using an adjustable crescent wrench. Turn counter-clockwise to remove the plug and clockwise to tighten it back up. Collect all the old oil from the oil pan, then screw the plug back in tightly.
- 3). Remove the oil filter with the oil filter wrench, turning it counter-clockwise. Collect any old oil that leaks when you remove the old oil filter.
- 4). Screw in the new oil filter and use the oil filter wrench to tighten it firmly into place.
- 5). Crawl out from beneath the car, collecting old oil, tools and the used oil filter. Safely unlock the jack and remove it properly.
- 6). Open the hood and locate the oil cap. It is on the right-hand side on the top of the exhaust manifold. Unscrew the cap and add five quarts of 10-W-30 motor oil.
