Ten Week Workout Plan - Have a Good Time With It, So You Can Sleep Better

With America trying desperately to get back in shape, there are plenty of workout plans out there.
Most include what exercises to do, how long to do them for and what you can and cannot eat.
However, exercising is all about motivation.
People are much more motivated to do things when they choose to do them, rather than following someone else's plan.
And, exercise can help you sleep better at night.
Here is a workout plan that you can make work for you, with some ideas for getting in shape while having fun at the same time.
Each idea is something you can do with a friend, so that you have someone to hold you accountable for going the whole ten weeks! Exercise Idea 1: Play Tennis It is highly likely that there is a tennis court near your house, and they can be put to good use.
Many parks have them, as well as recreation centers.
One advantage is that most are lighted and are open at night, so it is a good thing to do after work.
Aside from being a lot of fun, tennis is good exercise because of the amount of running around involved.
When you get into it, running back and forth on the court can get your heart rate up without you even noticing.
Tennis takes practice, so it wouldn't hurt to keep playing it for three or four weeks.
Exercise Idea 2: Swimming Not only is swimming fun in the summer, it can provide a great workout anytime.
If there isn't a pool in your backyard or neighborhood, you can find one at your local recreation center or gym.
At first, you may find you can only do a few laps before needing to stop and take a breather.
This is perfectly okay.
As long as you keep going afterward, you will notice over time that your endurance will build.
Swimming is also something that can be done before or after work, as well as on the weekends.
Three to four weeks of this can be very beneficial to your health, as it works almost every muscle in your body.
Exercise Idea 3: Walking It is ironic when people say that exercise is not a walk in the park, because a walk in the park is in fact exercise.
However, I am not talking about a nice stroll with a hot dog in hand.
I am talking power walking.
Walking at a fast pace for an extended period of time can be just as beneficial as jogging, but not as hard on the body.
A few weeks of this can not only lead to a healthier you, but you also may see some interesting things along the way.
So, whether tennis, swimming or walking is your idea of a good work-out, all three can have you in shape in no time at all.
And, as an extra bonus, it should help you to relax and sleep better as well.
