Cheesy Chicken Lasagna

My families love of lasagna and cheese lead me to this recipe.
The more cheese the better as far as they are concerned.
It was a real hit at our bible studies brunch, and I have taken it to several other functions and each time several people want the recipe.
So I thought I would share it with the world.
I have served it with a salad and a good crusty bread, and with vegetables and the bread.
The grandkids really love it, more so than regular lasagna.
I think it is the cheese, I could put cheese on just about anything and they would love it.
If your looking for a tasty way to switch up you lasagna, give this recipe a try.
What you will need: 1 (10.
75-oz.
) can condensed cream of chicken soup 1 (10.
75-oz.
) can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 cup chicken broth 1/2 tsp.
garlic powder 6 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained 4 cups chopped cooked chicken breast 3 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese 1-1/2 cups shredded low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese The first thing to do is to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Next, in a large bowl whisk together the chicken soup, mushroom soup, broth and garlic powder; set aside.
Using a rectangle 2-quart baking dish, layer half the lasagna noodles, half the chicken, half the soup mixture and half the Cheddar cheese.
Repeat the layers and top with the mozzarella cheese.
Bake, uncovered, 35 minutes or until heated through and the edges are bubbly.
Let it stand for 10 minutes before serving.
This will allow the lasagna to firm up a bit before you cut into it.
The cut portions will serve much better if allowed to stand before cutting.
The total preparation time for this lasagna is about 15 minutes and the total cooking time is approximately 35 minutes.
