The oriental countries, especially China, India, Japan and other countries have been pioneers in martial arts. Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu
It is a branch of the original form of martial arts known as Daito-ryu Jujutsu. The new form with the ‘Aiki' added became widely known in the 20th century thanks to its greatest founding master till date – Takeda Sokaku. The Aikido in this form was added by a disciple of the same master widely known as Morihei Ueshiba. These two together pioneered a new form of martial arts movement; interestingly, some parts of the Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu used in MMA fighting and tournaments (mixed martial arts).
