- 1). Check the power supply. Plug the power cord completely into a working outlet and remove other appliances from the outlet.
- 2). Reset or replace the fuse or circuit breakers, as needed; dryers require the use of at least two fuses or circuit breakers.
- 3). Look inside the dryer for objects or items that may have gotten caught in the dryer housing, preventing the drum from turning. Use a flashlight for additional illumination. Disconnect power if an object or item is visible and remove it, using a pair of pliers to reach it if necessary.
- 4). Shut the dryer door until latches; the dryer will not run if the door is not latched closed.
- 5). Remember to press "Start/Pause" after making a cycle selection to start the dryer.
