How to Keep Electricity, Even During Blackouts and Power Outages

Most people just purchase electricity from the power company, and have accepted the occasional blackout or power outage to be just part of life.
They figure it happens and there is nothing they can do about it.
But an alternative that is a lot more reliable and a lot cheaper is gaining popularity in The United States, and all over the world.
People are starting to make their own electricity.
Making your own electricity is not just for the die hard green people, or the mad scientist type, almost anyone can do it.
Solar panels and windmills that produce electricity can be built for less than two hundred dollars each.
All of the materials that you will need are available at your local hardware store or home improvement store.
Some or all of the materials can be found used for less, and sometimes even for free.
Solar panels can be fitted to the roof of your home, or any other building on your property.
This places them out of your way, out of your sight, and in the best position to collect the suns rays for the longest time every day.
Windmills can be dressed up in very attractive lawn ornaments.
In fact most people will not even know that they are electricity generators.
One of the best things about these types of power generators is the fact that they are extremely reliable and will produce power even when the electric company has a failure.
The solar panels will produce power as long as the sun shines, and the windmills will do the same as long as the wind blows.
Some people even set up banks of batteries to store excess power made by their solar panels and windmills to use at night when the sun is not shining and when the wind is not blowing.
This allows them to completely disconnect their electrical service, and live on power they produce.
