Most people are familiar with the issues surrounding global energy supplies and usage. A number of research efforts have gone into finding alternative fuel sources. Green Machine Solutions Inc., located in Jupiter, Florida, is one such company that specializes in reusable energy and alternative fuels. Started in February of 2008, the company has developed alternative sources in the areas of bio-diesel, solar energy, ethanol and hydrogen. Diversified Energy Groups (DEG) is the parent company to Green Machine Solutions. DEG's industry is oil and gas field development throughout the United States and around the world.

Reducing consumers' reliance on gasoline is one of the many objectives in promoting an energy-efficient economy. Green Machine Solutions has developed a product, called the Hydro-4000, which works to reduce fuel energy consumption. In addition, its commercial level Hydro Heat System has been implemented within a number of industries, some of which include courier, car services, shipping and tractor trailers. These products are based on a "home-grown" technology that uses natural materials and systems within a fuel conversion process.

Drawing on experience from Diversified Energy Group's endeavors, Green Machine Solutions introduced its technology to the consumer market with the Hydro-4000 product line. The Hydro-4000 is a hydrogen cell system that works to reduce gasoline consumption, using water as a form of fuel. Based on the chemical laws of electrolysis, the product enables car engines to run on what is known as Brown's Gas. Brown's Gas is a byproduct result that occurs when hydrogen and oxygen are separated from water. The electricity from your car's battery or alternator is used to split the water into hydrogen and oxygen.

The Hydro-4000 improved mileage, enhanced combustion and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. By using the energy derived from hydrogen within the electrolysis process as a combustion source, less gasoline is required to power a car. As a result, a car's fuel consumption can be reduced by as much as 60 percent. Since the hydrogen combustion process is cleaner than fuel's, there's less build up on engine components. As a result, the vehicle's power and performance are improved. In addition, because of the environmental benefits of using this product, consumers are able to write it off as a tax credit.

The technology behind Green Machine Solutions' product line has been attempted many times in the past. There are many controversies surrounding the true efficiency of the system and actual fuel usage reduction. Scientifically, a tremendous amount of energy is required to separate hydrogen from oxygen and release hydrogen's energy capacity. As it stands now, the reported "actual" reductions in fuel consumption remain inconsistent. There is added concern as to whether continued use may cause electrical damage as installation procedures require the device to be connected to a car's alternator, battery and ignition systems.
