- 1). Note the name of the identifier when the "Enter Parameter Value" dialog box appears in the Microsoft Access 2007 application.
- 2). Click on the "Cancel" button to close out of the "Enter Parameter Value" dialog box. Right-click on the query from the navigation pane and then click on the "Design View" option.
- 3). Look over the expression and identifiers listed in the "Field" and "Criteria" rows and see if any of the text matches what was shown in the Enter Parameter Value dialog box.
- 4). Change the identifier, as there must be an error in the way the identifier was written. Click on the "OK" button after making the appropriate edits to the identifier.
- 5). Click on the "Microsoft Office" button and then click on the "Save" option to save all of your changes. Return to the query and the "Enter Parameter Value" box should no longer pop up in the application.
