Marketing Your Blog - Creating a USP For Your Blog

Developing a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) for your blog is as important as developing one for your services.
Sometimes this is the same.
For instance, if your blog is your home on the web then the USP is the same for your services.
However, if your blog is based on a hobby or an extension of your services (or for some other purpose) then your USP is different.
In any case, every blog should answer these three questions: 1.
Who should visit your blog? 2.
Why should they visit you? 3.
If they aren't visiting you now, why should they? A blog should have some kind of sustainable advantage for the visitor.
This is what sets it apart from the competition or makes it unique.
In today's busy internet environment where blogs rule, you must create extra value and give people an additional reason to visit you.
Be sure your USP speaks directly to your niche and that it tells the benefit of why you are the best choice for them (which translates into why they should visit you more often).
For instance, my USP is "How To Captivate Your Brilliance, Accelerate Your Business, Find Your Value, Charge What You're Worth and Build a Dynamic Enterprise in a Spirit-Rich Way".
What is yours? People want to know what's in it for them.
You must have a "you" attitude towards your visitors and not a "me" attitude.
Give them information, tips, articles and resources that they can benefit from.
Ask them questions that will create a connection.
That's why I have created a step-by-step process to help you do this the right way, the first time around.
