- 1). Ensure the washer is properly connected to a working power supply if the washer will not function. Reset the circuit breaker or fuse if necessary.
- 2). Look at the feet of the dryer if the washer is vibrating excessively during use. All four feet should be level and in contact with the floor. Place a 3/4-inch piece of plywood under the washer to reduce sound. Check the load inside the washer and redistribute if the washer makes thumping noises during use.
- 3). Examine the pump and the area between the basket and tub if there are clicking or metallic noises during use. Coins, pens and other hard objects may fall out of pockets and become caught in the washer or pump.
- 4). Tighten the fill hoses if water is leaking from the washer, and check for obstacles in the drain hose or nearby sink or drain. Clean as necessary.
- 5). Use high efficiency laundry detergent and reduce the amount used if there is oversudsing in the washer. Press "Rinse/Drain" if there are excessive suds in the washer, then press "Start."
- 6). Ensure the top of the drain hose is above the water level in the washer if the washer is experiencing drain issues. Connect the drain hose to a standpipe for proper drainage.
