- 1). Rinse the tilapia under cool water then pat the fish dry with paper towels. Place the fillets in the shallow dish.
- 2). Place 2 tbsp. of butter in a small saucepan. Melt the butter then pour it over the fish. Turn the fish over with a fork to baste all sides of the fish. Sprinkle the fish lightly salt and pepper.
- 3). Shake the panko bread crumbs over the fillets. Turn the fillets over. Salt and pepper then follow up with panko bread crumbs.
- 4). Bake the coated fish for 15 to 20 minutes on 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
