- 1). Open a photo in Photoshop. Select the Levels tool under the Image menu and Adjustments submenu. Drag the solid black arrow at the left bottom of the histogram. Move it to the right of the graph to deepen the darkest colors of the photo. Adjust the solid white arrow at the right bottom of the histogram. Push it to the left of the graph to brighten the lightest tones of the photo. Move the gray arrow in the middle of the histogram to the left or right to darken or lighten the mid-range tones of the photo, respectively.
- 2). Use Corel Paint Shop Pro to view your photo. Select Adjust and then the One Step Photo Fix option through the Learning Center home page. Activate this fix to allow Paint Shop Pro to automatically adjust the tone, contrast, color and sharpness of the print. Observe the program's setting suggestions, which also includes a before and after view of the photo, and make any other corrections using the slide tools.
- 3). Load the LunaPic Online Photo Editor in your Web browser. Press the Choose File button to select a print from your photos, or enter the website of an online image to tone. Click the Upload Now! button or the Go button, respectively. Mouse over the Adjust menu to select tools to correct brightness, contrast and color in your print. Use the controls that pop up after clicking each fix to control the changes to your photo.
