  Rogers is located in the state of Arkansas within close proximity of the Ozark mountain range. The town was the historic site, where in 1881, C.W. Rogers, Vice President and General Manager of the Frisco Railroad, shook hands with landowner B.F. Sikes, on a deal that would send the Frisco Line through the area. The town prospered through trade and train passenger service and the residents named their city after C.W. Rogers in appreciation. The town is the home of the Rogers Convention and Visitors Bureau with several Gold award winning hotels nearby.
