- 1). Drill two holes on the side of the cabinet that will be next to or adjacent to the dishwasher (if there isn't already). The holes need to be at least 3-inches in diameter. One hole will need to be near the top of the wall facing the dishwasher and one near the bottom.
- 2). Look for two connections from the dishwasher. They will be located at the bottom back of the dishwasher. One connection will be the drain hose and the other is for the water supply. The drain hose will have a longer pipeline that will appear like an accordion type hose and the water supply line is a smaller and thinner hose.
- 3). Pull the drain hose through the top hole in the cabinet from the dishwasher and connect to sink drain. Put a clamp to hold the drain hose to the sink drain. The sink drain is located on the piping at the bottom of the underside of the sink
- 4). Bring the water supply hose through the bottom hole in the cabinet. Use a wrench to connect the water supply to the water line below the sink. This connection will sit below the valves for hot and cold water under the sink.
- 5). Plug in the dishwasher. Depending on how your kitchen is set up will also depend on if the plug for the dishwasher will be on the wall behind it or under the sink. If the plug is under the sink then pull the plug through the bottom hole along with the water supply line.
