- 1). Obtain a new key and have it cut to match your locks and ignition switch. A key can be purchased at your local dealer.
- 2). Place the first existing key in the ignition switch. Turn the switch from off to run, and back to off. Remove the key.
- 3). Place the second existing key in the ignition switch. Turn the key from off to run, and back to off. Remove the key.
- 4). Now, place your new key in the ignition switch. Turn the key from off to run, and back to off. Remove the key.
- 5). Try to start the engine using the new key. If it starts, you have successfully programmed your new key.
