- 1). Find your factory set code, which is needed whenever you erase a personal code. The five-digit code is on the owner's wallet card included with your owner's manual. If you do not have the wallet card, obtain one from a Ford dealer.
- 2). Enter the factory set entry code into the keypad. Within five seconds, press and release the "1-2" button.
- 3). Press and hold the "1-2" keypad for two seconds to erase your personal codes. All of the personal codes entered into your vehicle are erased, and only the five-digit factory code will work.
- 4). Exit programming mode. Wait five seconds after the "1-2" pad has been released, or press the "7-8" and "9-0" pads at the same time; the doors will lock and the programming mode will end.
