- 1). Press the eject button located on the front, lower panel of the fridge. The panel is the vented panel beneath the doors. The eject button is shaped like a half-moon. Press the button in until the cartridge pops outward. Pull the filter straight out.
- 2). Remove the cap from the filter with a counterclockwise turn. The cap will attach to the new filter in a similar manner but in the opposite direction.
- 3). Align the ridge on the cap with the arrow on the filter. Both the ridge and arrow are easily identified. Twist the cap clockwise until it clicks.
- 4). Remove the protective films from the O-rings on the filter, and slide the filter into the compartment at the base of the fridge. Press the filter in place until the eject button pops out.
- 5). Purge the water line by filling a cup with water from the dispenser a few times.
