I was just thinking about Jessica and how ridiculous I think her trek back to her high school days is (especially since she is now talking about getting into college) and I was wondering about her state of mind. Could it be that when Mitch zapped her brain with those electrodes he unleashed yet another personality? I’m kidding of course, but it would be just like the writers to come up with something outrageous like that.
Maybe they haven’t done it yet because they can’t come up with another “ess” name. We have Jess, Bess and Tess, so maybe the next personality could be “Mess.” Perish the thought. It just seems to me that her behavior is so out of character and that she is reacting to everything that happens to her in an aggressing manner than Jessica didn’t have back in her younger days.
Jessica’s behavior is totally strange when you remember how she really was in high school and she is showing a bit of her Tess side especially when she confronts Natalie after being shocked that her sister had married Cris. Jessica came right out and asked Natalie how she felt about stealing someone’s boyfriend and it was pretty funny because usually Natalie doesn’t have much problem getting herself into trouble, but she is innocently finding plenty these days.
Poor Roxy can’t ever get drunk enough to escape her past and her problems, especially when Alison shows up in her salon with the baby and a gun. Alison has been holding a secret over Roxy’s head concerning Rex’s birth, which will be revealed shortly, and Alison is using it to get Roxy to do her bidding.
I got a huge laugh when Natalie showed up at the salon needing someone to talk to and there sat Alison in the salon chair with a towel on her head and a mud pack on her face. Wasn’t Natalie surprised to find herself facing a gun and Alison at the other end? And of course John came by to save the day and warn Natalie about Alison and she tried to steer him away. By that time Roxy had Alison and the baby tucked away in Kyle’s apartment since he was out working. John wasn’t really satisfied that Natalie was okay, but he didn’t find any signs of trouble. Wouldn’t it be nice if for once someone like Alison would be caught red handed like that before she could cause any more trouble? She is nothing but annoying this time around and I hope her stay is short.
Meanwhile, Sky is at home frantic over his daughter being kidnapped and finally Tea comes over when he doesn’t show up in court. He has to confide in her and tell her what happened with Alison taking the baby, but just like always, Tea breaks the rules and doesn’t call the cops to report the kidnapping. This is all going to b low up anyway w hen Sky finds out he is not Sierra’s daddy. The truth needs to come out already.
Alison finally calls Sky and tells him that he will get his daughter back if he busts Mitch out of prison. This is where things got really stupid. So Sky shows up at the prison infirmary to relieve Kyle who is working there taking care of prisoners. Oh sure; two medical students are going to be given the responsibility of dealing with hardened criminals and have access all on their own to a cabinet full of drugs (especially Sky). There are no doctors, no nurses, only lowly medical students. Yeah, right! So Sky takes over and Kyle goes home to get the surprise of his life when he finds Alison there with Roxy tied up and the baby in tow.
Back at Statesville, Kelly and Todd have shown up to see Mitch because Kelly has to ask him if he killed her mother, as if he’s going to tell her the truth. Mitch does what he usually does best; he taunts Kelly until she wants to strangle him, but what else is new? But just as planned, Mitch fakes a collapse and is rushed to the infirmary where he is sure that Sky is going to bust him out of the joint. Little does he know that Sky is going to turn the tables on him to get Sierra back. Don’t get too excited because Mitch isn’t ready to die yet.
I was hoping that Rex would accept Gigi’s marriage proposal but I do understand why he turned her down. They both love each other and want to be together, but Rex and Gigi have lost a lot of trust along the way and he says he won’t enter into marriage unless it is just because they love each other and not because of the baby. Rex is going to have a major emotional upheaval coming soon when Roxy’s secret about his birth comes out so he will have plenty to deal with. Hopefully he will have Gigi and Shane to lean on and that will bring them back together as a family.
