- Obtain several styrofoam balls and lightly draw a pattern on a ball using pencil. Use straight pins to attach the sequin to the foam. Once the ball is completely covered in sequins, attach a ribbon or floral wire at the top.
- Cover a plain wooden frame with regular glue. Place the sequins on the frame in any pattern you desire. If you want a random pattern, pour sequins onto a paper plate, then place the frame face down onto the sequin plate. Allow the frame to dry before placing a picture inside.
- Sew sequins onto a clean pillow case. Before sewing lightly, draw a design or pattern onto the pillowcase using a marker. An easy way to sew on a sequin is to bring the threaded needle up through the middle of the sequin and back down to the outside. Pull the needle tight so the sequin stays in place. Bring the needle up through the middle again, and down toward the outside of the sequin; this time, the stitch should end one-third the way down from the original stitch. Repeat the same motion but on the opposite side, so when you are done, the stitches resemble an upside-down Y.
- Measure a thin cord around your wrist and cut accordingly. String a handful of sequins on the thin cord, one at a time. To keep a space between the sequins, tie a knot after each sequin. When you are finished adding the sequins, knot the ends together to form a bracelet.
