Choose padding which is dense that can avoid any stress on the floor. The higher the ounce quality, the better is the density.

As much as possible select a 40 ounces padding that can provide maximum protection on your flooring.

When choosing Rug pad for hardwood floor ensure that they are smaller than your carpets. They must be at least more or less one inch than your mats on its four sides. Smaller padding allows the rug to taper to the floor. When you already purchased the right padding for your rugs, it is good to maintain them with regular cleaning with vacuum or exposing them once in a while to extend their life so you can use them for the years to come.
